FriendA: for me the most “funnest” thing ever is when i worship and pray and get swept into his tangible felt presence …

FriendA: but i think humour is a result of our fall

FriendB: hmm… tats somethign to think about.but God makes me laugh a lot..
                and I kinda figure that He who created

languages and made certain words mean the same thig nor sound the same
                had puns in His mind when he put em

together…

FriendB: He’s a father.and we’re His children…Ive often thought. .in human  
                terms…what age would the heavenly

FriendA: humour usually happens when 2 issues contradict unexpectedly, catches us
                by surprise = super funny, but since

there are no contradictions b4 the fall – no humour, cos its ALL joy 
                anyway …

FriendB: I’ve always thought ofBIG father and a little kid.. .and you know how   
                fathers relate to little kids?…play.

FriendB: no contradictions?but also no perfect knowledge…so ‘surprises’ will
                definately still happen

FriendA: i see what u mean. … i asked God to show me how He is funny abt 3 years 
                ago, since then He’s been showing me my

‘true self’ ever since … my own unbelief makes me laugh, in contrast with   
               how faithful awesome and trustworthy

FriendB: i dont see humour as that to be honest.

FriendA: i want a deeper revelation of God as my playful daddy

FriendB: to me humour is not cynicism…neither is it a response to imperfection…
                not a distinction between good

and bad but rather.. . a higher form of response..much like silence.. or   
                music..that allows us to connect with

the creator in some higherplane..

FriendB: well I think that comes from comin to him as a little child saying   
               ’Daddy..I wuv you’

FriendA: ya, cynicism is right …

FriendB: God being the gracious father will respond as we need Him to..and He
                will NEVER inappropriately respond..

so when we come to himas anangsty teeanger .. he will be the patient  
                loving mentor…if we come to him with

an agenda.. he will be the undertsanding boss…

FriendB: but deep down in every father’s heart..I think..he always wants his
                little boy/girlto run up to him. crawl

up to his lap, put his arms around his neck and snuggle up close to him
                simply because..hes ‘ daddy’.

FriendA: Yup. I Love my daddy =)

FriendB: *gasp..it does indeed..wow.

FriendB: I see humour on that plane as well. .the sudden outburst..thelaughter..I
                can actually see God just putting

little surprises in our wayin our daily lives so when we see it and laugh..
               he laughs with us…

FriendA: so i gather Godly humour has much to do with surprises …has to do with 
                amazement and awe

FriendB: God wants to make my day!!He wants me to go back to him at night and
