Enjoy God?
I woke up this morning and the words enjoy God kept ringing in my mind. Is that what i’ve been missing out? Is that what God’s been showing me the past two days and i haven’t been able to swallow? It sounds so hedonistic. Like taking God for granted. But actually it is a deep appreciation for everything that He has been to me. He has really blessed me with so so so much. I am so thankful for this relationship that He has given me – a relationship with the living God who is my Father. He is all sufficient for me. You know i’ve sometimes been made to feel guilty for making a big commitment on the holland flat but God just reassured me this morning that He is giving this to us, not based on merit but based on love.
“The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.” Psalm 85
My Father you are so good. No one compares to you. It was such a joy to wake up to your thoughts and your voice. I have enjoyed every moment of you this entire year. You are truly awesome and great. I have new appreciation and love for you.
