Blogging again
I’ve been having a bit of problems with Firefox
the past few days. It just wouldn’t load up our blog but we can access
any other sites. Really strange. But i shut it down and restarted the
app and it’s ok again. Finally. Why didn’t i think of that earlier?!?
Pray that it won’t go weird on me again. Techology…
Haven’t really been blogging a lot coz the festive season has kept us
really busy. We’ve been having different people come over at different
times. It’s been great.
Today’s my first day at work this new year. We started the day with
meeting up with Youth for Christ. It was a really inspiring time
hearing how they have been using sports n adventure, media n performing
arts to reach the youths. I was particularly impressed with the
training for sports n adventure. They are getting professional coaches
from overseas to come teach on the biblical basis for sports outreach -
Transforming Communities Thru Sport. Solid stuff.
First person i thought of was my bro. He’ll benefit from that. So
exciting. I’m excited for the Servers coz this year they get to benefit
from the YFC training.
OH YES! Serve is starting again. Serve 2006. A while ago it was just
Serve 2005. Time passes real fast. So far we have 65 who signed up.
Praise God. 10 from SJSM. That’s awesome. Pray that it’ll go deep. Also
pray for each of us as mentors to keep our eyes focused on the Lord.
Sometimes it’s so easy to just do it coz it’s repetitive but we need to
keep our hearts n ears close to the Lord and move with Him.
Gonna be quite busy in the days ahead but thank God for the bible reading plan. Keeps me grounded.
