Week 23
From Baby Center:
Feeling energetic and excited about the forthcoming birth? If you find
yourself dancing around the house with joy, your baby will hear the
music and feel you sway, since his hearing and sense of movement are
well developed now. He’s also started blinking his eyelids. Once you
reach the 24th week of pregnancy, your baby becomes “viable”. This
means that he has a chance of survival if born now. However, with each
week that passes, he becomes more and more mature and better able to
cope with the outside world.
baby from the outside! Every night before we sleep, we just take time
to just lie still to wait for baby to move and both of us like little
kids just marvelling at the movement and happily talking, half praying
and singing with baby.
Last Fri at the gynae, the doctor has confirmed that BABY IS A GIRL!!!!! 
She said confidently that in all her years of experience, she has only
been wrong once! So it’s SOPHIE!!!! I’m going ahead to buy pink things!
Haha. I’m not a great fan of pink but what’s a baby girl without pink!

Other things that doctor said…. er…
i think your baby legs are shorter than normal (oh… i guess darling got my genes)
but they are very strong, keeps kicking (ok… i donno where she got
that from coz both james n i are so lazy… maybe it’s Kelvin… prob
get him to teach her soccer or Rachel… to dance).
Her head is normal size now compared to previous scan. No longer in breeched position, praise God!
Placenta is still low (we’re praying that it will move up and normalize or else hard to have normal birth).
She has a sharp chin, heh prob pretty, cool! (think it’s James’ genes coz all moks have square faces.. heh)
These scans are amazing…. how did people do without them in the past!

anw,congrats on ur pregnancy!haha i just found out a month ago..how do u knw she will like pink?maybe shes gonna be a tomboy.
haha my dad also has a sis 13 years younger than he is.can the sec 1s take care of her?plz…haha

hey peter… gen is one of our older youths who is studying overseas… pink… all baby girls wear pink, peer pressure. anyways she’s got no choice heh. of course you guys can take care… come babysit!
