The fool says there is no God
Something struck me today and i wanted to share with you.
As i was praying with James this morning, i realised, also reflecting
from today’s devotion from 40 Days Fast book, that our flesh cries out
that there is NO GOD. The world cries out that there is NO GOD.
Everything within us cries out there is NO GOD. And how much we need to
fight that thought! The world tells us there is NO GOD so live whatever
way you want and do it however you want. Without restraint.
BUT the Spirit of God within us cries out, ailing, THERE IS A GOD. I AM HERE. I LIVE WITHIN YOU.
My Father cries out for me, in the midst of my flesh being weak.
My Father is a Father of relationship. He cries out for me.
We so much need to be reminded in our time and age that GOD IS HERE,
VERY MUCH ALIVE, VERY MUCH SOVEREIGN, VERY BIG, VERY MIGHTY, VERY
ABLE…
That gave Daniel the courage to stand strong and stand firm. It’s not
something he felt, it’s something he knew and constantly fought to
remember.
I pray that today you too WILL know that GOD IS HERE. He is involved whether or not you feel it.
It’s really encouraging…

thanks ailing! really needed that reminder. with the pressure from the world bomabarding us everyday with lies and deceptions, we need to be reminded constantly that the God we worship is alive and He does exist!

Funny how the same thing kindda came to me when I was preparing for a worship for a VCF camp last week.
God drew my attention to the psalmists love for God’s law and how they understand freedom to be possible only God’s law.
Totally unlike how freedom is understood now, in light of how it’s associated with self-determination and all.
Nice. =)
And thanks for the song you entered in below, it really spoke to me and I used it in the same worship session too!

Praise the Lord guys… it’s only when we really know that God exists and He is worthy that we can even begin to worship…
