First Aid n Baby Jesus

Got photos! Thanks to Leslie. This is Huan Yang as Joseph, Sophie n I as baby Jesus n Mary.
Today was quite an eventful day for us.
I went with Steph for a First Aid Class at Birth n Beyond (i know! it sounds like to infinity n beyond!) and left Sophie with my MIL. It was great! The instructor was excellent. I learnt so many things in 4 hrs! No colgate on burnts, how to do CPR… so if you’re choking can look for me! Haha… But through the class i was frowning most of the time coz i keep thinking oh my if that really happened, what i will do?!? I think i’ll just totally freak out!
But it was great lah. Since I’m the main caregiver to Sophie now, in case anything happens at home, at least i have these info at the back of my head. And most importantly, if an ambulance is needed, the number to call is 995. Can you believe it? I had no idea. Anyways it was great way to spend the afternoon with Steph. Doing CPR on dummies together… haha…
Rushed back to feed Sophie and get ready to go to Christmas at Dover. It’s this event that church did in conjunction with the Dover community to bring Christmas into Dover estate.
Sophie was Baby Jesus and I acted as Mary. James couldn’t make it so Huan Yang was Joseph. It was really easy. We just sat on stage, didn’t need to speak, didn’t even go for rehearsal! As we sat there, all the shepherds came to bow down to Jesus.
It was a great great honor to represent Jesus in this way. It was Sophie’s first time serving the Lord. I was so proud. What a great honor. Kept praying that even though we didn’t do very much that the Lord will use us just as we are. That by just sitting there, we’ll reflect the glory of God! Sophie was great! She was asleep throughout the play! She only woke up after we got off stage and cried a bit when I put her into the pram. Good girl!
We finally got home at 8plus and put her to sleep. What a long day…
