The taxman is here
It’s the time of the year to file our taxes again!
Well, i thought that since i’m not working, i don’t have to do it anymore BUT i forgot that i’m supposed to help James out with the finances. That essentially means that i’m also responsible for filing our corporate tax! Ah……
So i spent the whole morning trying to call up different government agencies to figure out the difference between LLP, Pte Ltd and sole proprietorship, what we need to submit, how to submit etc…. and i realised that I CANNOT imagine what we’ll do without the internet! Of course i still had to call them up coz i was just too lazy to read everything on the websites.
It didn’t take very long to finally figure it all out and compile the info.
I actually feel very good doing something different from reading baby books.
Side note, last nite we started our spring cleaning. First up, we wiped out our entire cupboard. The rule is that james n i will only keep 30 tops n 10 bottoms each. We’re junking the rest n will buy new ones. Anyways i can’t fit into my old clothes. Next is the kitchen.

You shud draw a small salary frm the company and will enjoy better tax rebates being a part-time working mom.
Wah! Keeping to just 30 tops and 10 bottoms is really discipline. Wish I can do tht.

Heh yah! But it’s a partnership so we’re taxed based on the salary, not the income of the company. So not much point having a salary… but anyways it’s not like we’re making that much as a company to be taxed anyways. heh. We’re going to do that this yr tho… pray we’ll make more! heh…
YAH not much discipline needed now coz i can’t fit my old clothes anyways… wait till we buy more and will let you know how that goes! hahahahaha…. i’m very good at throwing things away!
