Royal Woods at Gold Coast
Right after the wedding on Sat, we went down to Gold Coast for 2 days. We stayed in a service villa called Royal Woods. It’s in the middle of nowhere and we almost lost our way coz we drove there in the nite. Apparently in the woods. Ha.
But the villa was really nice, even had a garage. It had two apts with a connecting door in one villa so James and I actually had one little apt to ourselves. Our own living room, bedroom, BABY COT, kitchen n TV! Hahaha… not like we really watched TV. Only episode 21 of Heroes on our com while Sophie was sleeping.
Mum, Dad n Auntie Doreen shared the other apt which had two rooms and their own facilities too.
It was really nice to have our own space plus Sophie can be in the room sleeping while we did our own thing outside. In the TooWong Villa apt, we had to tiptoe around our luggages while Sophie was sleeping. No fun. At this place, it was like back home. Nice.
We spent the next two days at the factory outlets at HarbourTown. Ok that’s all we did. Oh yah and the beach…. mainly for Sophie to get her feet into sand and sea. The aunties were being aunties, refused to go anywhere near the sand. Ok me too lah, i made James take Sophie while i took pictures.
