9mth check up

We went to see Dr B last Fri for a piece of mind. We’ve not been to see her since Sophie’s 6 mths. I had some questions to ask her and also for her to check on Sophie’s weight gain.
Sophie is 6.8kg and 69cm. She hasn’t put on much weight since 6mths (6.3kg). However when Dr B found out how much Sophie was eating, she was quite surprised. Seems like Sophie just has our genes… eat eat eat but cannot get fat. So she wasn’t so concerned abt Sophie’s weight anymore so just told me to try to up her calcium intake in case she’s not taking enough breastmilk. She said to give Sophie yogurt for tea everyday and give her as much food, of anything as she wants.
Other than that, Dr B gave sophie a pass for everything else. Her neck is fine, i keep thinking she slants her head. Her legs are not weak, just waiting it’s time. It’s not that she can crawl yet. As Dr B says, she’s crawling…, her own way. She’s alert and curious.
Oh ya… I asked Dr B if I should just stop breastfeeding and just give her formula milk since we’re not sure if Sophie’s getting enough calcium but she told me not to stop breastfeeding coz it’s good for Sophie.
Okie for all the worries, Sophie is just fine. She’s good!

Hey i think i notice that James slants his head naturally too… hehe… maybe she took after him…

hey suelynn, really?!?! I never really noticed it but i did notice that sometimes i do it too. I suspect coz she has a heavy head. hee… btw, thanks for the contacts, but i’ve yet to call her. Been quite packed w activities going out everyday. Will call her soon!
