Play Date with DerNen

 

After the horrific incident with a naughty boy at the playground on Fri, we were glad to set Sophie on a date with a nice sweet gentleboy on Sat. Look at him gently touching her feet. (p/s i think he likes the pooh bear) Of course, we, the parents, were the chaperons.

 

We had a nice leisure breakfast at the park. Ok, as leisurely as we possibly could with two little ones. They were busy gobbling up the food as soon as it reached the table – bread, fruits etc.

 

After that, we went to check out the new Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden at the Bukit Timah Core gardens (linked to the Botanical Gardens). It was quite nice but it was just too hot and crowded to really enjoy it. Everyone was already camping there with their picnic mats etc.

 

Really nice way to spend a Saturday morning… We got home about 12pm and Sophie took a 2 hr nap coz she missed her morning nap. I think she must have been real exhausted.

    u won’t believe this…but i think i was at the botanics the same time u guys were there…but i was over at the evolution garden on a class trip…it was awfully boring…bleargh

    Hey girl, you probably got yr fever and sore throat frm this outing. You must have been dehydrated!! Hope you are better now.

    Aiyo… maybe, but James was already down w sore throat n cough so might have gotten it from him. But you’re right lah… I’ve been out too much past week also…. no rest… :( hee…
