We bought a set of table and chairs for Sophie today. She’s starting to draw (ok… scribble… ok ok… make marks…) and I get a backache bending on the floor to do that with her. And I just enjoy getting stuff for Sophie. She’s always almost super enthusiastic.
We got this set from Ikea at $35. We chose this set because it was the only chair that she could get onto pretty easy and on her own. That’s very important because it wouldn’t make sense if I had to lift her onto it each time or be afraid she’ll fall over etc. And we figured, if she really messed up the table, it’ll actually look pretty nice since we’re into graffiti and I won’t complain coz it’s ONLY $35 bucks. And finally, if it falls apart at some point, she’ll be old enough to have a new kid’s desk of her own. Ok it better not fall apart in 2 days.
Our lil Miss Fix It was giving instructions to her Mama and Daddy. She loves fixing things and if there are nails and holes, she’s there.
Oooo it was so nice to see her settling in and loving it. We got her a roll of paper and some boxes to store her pens and crayons. The point was so she could get to them on her own.
Our little one is growing up.
