Hearsay
Sophie’s been saying some funny things that I thought I should record before I forget.
"I’m supernan!"
I think she means Superman. I’m really not quite sure where she learnt that from coz she’s never seen Superman. But it’s really funny when she says it. She says it when I lift her out of her cot. She even says "weeee" after that. Funny.
"That’s a good idea mummy!"
On Sat, I gave her a slice of cheese for breakfast and then I told her something like I’ll leave a banana in a bowl for you too while I go get a bath. And she said "That’s a good idea mummy!" ?!?!? Ya… so funny.
"I’m so tired"
On the way home from swim class on Fri morning in the cab, she said "I’m soooooo tired…." in a tired voice sounding emphasizing on the "soooooooooo", EXACTLY like me. The taxi driver turned around to look at her. Hahahaha…. When we got home, I started to quickly serve lunch coz it was her naptime. Before I could put her in her high chair, she said "I want to sleep…" She’s never expressed a desire to sleep in words before! That’s so cool! I put her to bed immediately and she slept without fuss.
"That’s so pretty"
She looked longingly at the lace on my blouse, touching it and tugging at it and said "That’s so pretty!". She said it so many times that I think I’m going to get her some dresses with lace. I think she’s going to REALLY like them. 
I think she’s said many other funny things but I can’t rem them. I really must make it a point to write them down before she’s fully speaking and it’s not so exciting or amusing to me anymore.
