Hong Kong Trip July 08
Day 7
Location: Aberdeen
Event: We had dinner with Angeline, a Singapore friend that I got to know via the Singapore Motherhood forum, at a restaurant near her home. She’s been living in HK for a long time. After dinner, we went to visit her home.
Sophie and Trinity had so much fun! Angeline was so smart, she brought along her helper who kindly helped to entertain the kids while we ate! Here they are singing and playing. They were playing till 11pm! Felt so bad for keeping them up.
It was really nice to catch up with a friend living in another country and see how they live. It was also a helpful break for Sophie to just play instead of dragged along to go shopping with us.
On our way to Aberdeen where Angeline lives, we got to see a lot more of HK. HK is really pretty because it’s so mountainous. But there are buildings everywhere! And they are so skinny and tall! I think I’ll be so afraid to live in a tall building that is so thin! Esp with the typhoons! Oh my! Some look like they’ll topple any moment. Really interesting.
We’re looking forward to having Trinity over at our place when they come for a visit!
