Sophie is really enjoying her time with Mama and Yeye. Whenever I ask her if she would like to go over, she’ll say "YES!". So much so that when Mama asked her if she would like to stay over, she also said "Yes!". Hahah that’s how she ended up staying overnight on Tues.

Our initial plan was for her to go over on Tues and Wed but we didn’t plan for her to stay over. Wasn’t sure if she would be ok with that. But since she wanted to, we thought we’ll let her try. It went pretty ok. My MIL had to sing and pat her to sleep in the cot and she woke up in the middle of the night to play for a while and fell back asleep with my MIL on the bed. At unfamiliar places, Sophie normally wakes up in the middle of the night on the first one or two days. After that she’s normally fine.

Wah….. but I really missed her! Although we were busy, I really missed her non-stop chatter and questions. She was back on Wed night and I spent the whole of yesterday with her.

Funny thing is, as a result of spending time away from us, she tries to get away with some of our usual routines – e.g wants us to pat her to sleep, wants us to feed her etc… they learnt SO FAST! She even woke up last night to want to poo – partly to wanna hang out with us and partly I think she’s going to be ready to toilet trained for the night. But it’s cool with us coz she’s so set in the routines that she knows she can try to push the boundaries with us but can’t get very far. It’s just funny to watch her try.
