I normally document Sophie’s development monthly but she’s changing so fast and I don’t really want to miss the little things she does. If you read our blog on a regular basis and you’re not a mum, please bear with the mummy side of me. I’m going to do it as we go along.

Darling Sophie,

You have been doing some special things recently.

Yesterday you started fussing during mealtime and kept wanting to snatch the bowl away from me. I couldn’t figure what was happening and you kept refusing to eat. So i took you away and played with you abit and put you back on the hair chair. THEN! I figured! You wanted to self feed! So…… i put your bowl in front of you (so you can see the food) and started scooping food into your mouth and you finished up all your food. It happened again today during dinner. So i gave you your own spoon to play with and I managed to finish feeding you all your food.

You’ve been making this funny "em em" sound and you like to bounce and do that. Super cute. This one i managed to catch on video. Hee…

And today, you used your playpen as a side trampoline from the outside with me behind you and started to bounce. (A bit hard to imagine, hopefully i can get some photos coz it’s so fun!) It was super funny and you kept laughing!

Mommy loves playing with you… you really light up our lives you know.
